January 4, 2006CTD if I can impose on your post here I was also wondering what if any upgraded rotors/pads/calipers for 3rd gen's people were running. Improved braking efficiency, stopping distance, is it worth it? Do ceramic pads make much of a difference?
January 4, 2006Good luck finding ceramics for a CTD .... I have been looking for a year. I dont tow so I could use them. I was told they dont make them because they would not hold up under heavy breaking while towing?
January 4, 2006I found them for the rear of my truck. Not sure of the brand though.
January 4, 2006black thunder that's a sweet truck, what size wheels and tires are those?
January 4, 2006Doug, the ceramic pads are great but you will still get some rust on the wheels if that's what your trying to avoid. not as much but still some.
January 4, 200605dsl thanks, they are Mickey Thompson 325-65-18 baja atz tires (35's) and Weld 18 in wheels.
Some extra braking power would be nice if there is someting out there actually worth it.
January 5, 2006i hope they come out with some decent stuff before i'm due for brakes.
